About Bit Korean Medicine Clinic
Warm hands that heal not just the body,
but the heart — caring for your health together.
Our Story
Bit Korean Medicine Clinic is located near the historic Yangnyeong Herbal Medicine Market in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. Like the word "Bit" (meaning "light"), the clinic was opened with the hope of becoming a warm light in the lives of those who are weary and in pain.
In this place where the longstanding Korean medicine tradition of Yangnyeong Market still breathes, we harmoniously combine the wisdom of traditional Korean medicine with modern therapeutic techniques to provide the best possible care.
Rather than treating patients quickly and sending them on their way, we believe in talking with each patient at length, together finding the fundamental root cause of their condition. We strive to give you an experience that warms not just your body, but your heart.
For those who have never visited a Korean medicine clinic and feel uncertain or nervous, we always work to create a friendly, welcoming space where you can come at ease.
Our Principles of Care
Thorough Consultation & Communication
Listening carefully to each patient comes before quickly processing symptoms. We communicate with every individual slowly and deeply.
Root-Cause Focused Treatment
We seek out and treat the fundamental cause, not just the surface symptoms. This helps reduce recurrence and supports lasting wellness.
Safe, Evidence-Based Treatment
Based on the clinical experience of traditional Korean medicine and the latest research, we administer only safe, proven treatments.
Ongoing Health Management
Care doesn't end after one visit. We continuously monitor each patient's health and support long-term wellbeing together.
About Dr. Lee Sang-jin
Hello. I am Lee Sang-jin, director of Bit Korean Medicine Clinic.
Throughout my studies in Korean medicine, I have always focused on the individual person. Even with the same diagnosis, each person has a different constitution, different lifestyle habits, and a different state of mind. That is why I believe the most important thing is not to apply a uniform treatment to every patient, but to create a personalized treatment plan for each individual.
During the treatment process, I make every effort to explain clearly what each patient is receiving and why this treatment is necessary. I believe that treatment without explanation makes it difficult to build trust.
When you visit Bit Korean Medicine Clinic, I hope that as you leave the consultation room, you will feel lighter — not just in body, but in heart as well. That is the reason I do this work.
